Abstract

Fuel savings on vehicles such as Boeing 737-800 NG aircraft are directly proportional to the amount of fuel consumed and the distance traveled by the vehicle. Fuel savings aim to increase fuel efficiency and reduce environmental impacts. Reducing environmental impacts is one of the efforts to realize a green economy. The normal distribution of minimum fuel requirement data and travel fuel meets 99.7% of the population within 3 standard deviations of the average data. This serves to ensure the availability of fuel during the flight. Where the availability of sufficient fuel can meet the needs, including taxi fuel, travel fuel, contingency fuel, final reserve fuel, and if necessary alternative fuel, additional fuel and discretionary fuel.
