Abstract
This research aims to measure the level of passenger satisfaction with the terminal facilities at Douw Aturure Airport in Nabire using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) method. The study employs a quantitative descriptive approach with a sample of 107 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The terminal facility indicators were divided into three categories: (1) Departure and arrival process facilities, (2) Passenger comfort facilities, and (3) Value-added facilities. Data analysis revealed that the overall CSI score was 77.16%, indicating that passengers were generally satisfied with the terminal facilities. The highest satisfaction was found in accessibility aspects, such as the arrival hall and check-in counters. However, several supporting facilities—such as Wi-Fi, nursing rooms, and smoking areas—received relatively lower CSI scores, signalling the need for future improvement. Facilities related to comfort, including waiting room space, lighting, and cleanliness, were rated favorably, albeit with minor gaps between expectations and perceived performance. This research reinforces previous studies by highlighting that cleanliness, accessibility, comfort, and supporting amenities are critical factors influencing airport service satisfaction. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for airport management in improving service quality and user experience at regional airports.
