Abstract
Payroll is an administration system used to process data related to employee payroll in a company, one of which is PT XYZ. PT XYZ is a company engaged in financial technology that has a main service based on electronic payments. Currently, the payroll system at PT XYZ is still done manually using Microsoft Excel. This is inefficient because the time and energy required are greater. Therefore, a new payroll system is needed that can help HRD staff in recapitulating employee attendance for payroll needs. This research was conducted using a qualitative method, namely direct observation of one of the HRD staff who handles employee payroll. The payroll system will later be created using Spreadsheet. Based on the system that has been created, the results obtained are that the new payroll system can help HRD staff in recapitulating employee attendance optimally because the system works automatically. The use of Spreadsheets in the new payroll system can work efficiently because of its ease in saving automatically and can be worked on simultaneously.
